Research Interests: I am currently working on three projects before determining which will become the basis for my thesis. 1) Molecular markers in quaking-6 STAR protein knockout mouse ovarian tumors with immunohistochemistry; 2) Determining the possible interactions between desert hedgehog (Hh) signaling and steriodoegenic factor-1 (SF-1); and 3) Determining the estrogen responsivity of two members of the Iroquois family of homeobox genes, Irx3 and Irx5.
