Research Statement:
My research emphasis focuses on the integrated regulation of phosphorous and vitamin D metabolism and the coordinated modulation of bone mineralization. Recent success in the laboratory includes cloning the gene for X linked hypophosphatemia and have discovered a new class of hormones, phosphatonins.
